My interest in health care, particularly the wholistic care of people experiencing cancer has spanned more than 30 years, initially training as a general nurse, and then working in the area of Oncology.

Whilst continuing nursing, I commenced training and then working as a Remedial massage therapist 15 years ago. After a few years of consolidation, I begun to study the speciality of Oncology Massage – Completing all modules between 20124- 2016, with the experience incorporating the opportunity to train at the Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre to complete Module 4 – equipping me to massage in a hospital setting. This brought all the years of my professional knowledge and skill set together to enable me to deliver care that I truly believe is paramount to an individual’s optimal wellbeing. I have always been passionate about my field of work, but none so more as now – as I see every day the benefit Gentle Touch massage can bring.

Currently I am working in the Regional city of Bendigo and surrounds. In addition to running my private practice, I massage at The Bendigo health Hospice and Wellness Centre as an Oncology Massage Specialist, as well as providing massage care to people on Health Care Packages who often have co-morbidities and complex physical, and psycho-social health care needs.

I have always loved working with people and feel very privileged to be trusted as part of their Health care team.
